Industrial Washing Systems

FILCO offers three distinct product lines:

Industrial Washer

The FILCO "CW" continuous washing system has been specifically engineered to give you years of dependable service. This line of washers is built using either mild or stainless steel construction depending on your requirements and is double welded to ensure structural integrity. These washers are built to meet the most demanding requirements and are available with either belt conveyor or for overhead conveyor systems.

Industrial Washer manufacturing

The FILCO "AW" dip tank washing system has been designed to improve cleaning efficiency in a dip system. This is achieved by taking advantage of the tank cleaning chemicals and moving them in and around the part being cleaned. This is accomplished by utilizing a pumping system with eductors.

In most applications the heating of the tank can significantly improve the effectiveness of the cleaning process. The "AW" system offers this option through energy efficient gas burners and a small bore heat exchangeer.

Electrically heated units are also available. The elements are encased in a stainless steel tube and are installed with a quick disconnect for easy removal.

The "CPW" wash station is a manual stand alone wash system, which allows a single operator to move parts onto a steel grating that is enclosed. The operator is equiped with a high pressure spray wand which operates at 1000 to 1500 p.s.i. This allows the operator to remove any oil or contaminants on the parts while using a mild phosphate solution.

The spray solution is collected in the sump tank. Due to the ON/OFF cleaning cycle, the heavy contaminants have time to seperate and sink due to the seperating plates within this tank. Once the sump tank is full, a high water limit switch will activate the transfer pump. Prior to the solution entering the transfer pump it goes through a secondary filtration process to remove any additional contaminants to protct the transfer pump.

The solution is pumped into the main phosphate/cleaning tank ready to be used again. A fresh water make-up is provided using a solenoid valve which is activated by a low water limit switch.
